Christmas Spiral-Cut Ham

Deck the halls and decorate your holiday tables—Christmas is almost here! Celebrate the yuletide season with panache and put together a memorable holiday meal from the variety of gorgeous centerpieces available at our butcher counter, as well as our selection prepared mains, side dishes, and desserts.

We’ll have standing rib roasts of beef and classic whole beef tenderloins, but if a holiday bird is what you’re after, check out our free-roaming turkeys or even our free-range goose. We’ll also have festive spiral-cut hams, whole pork tenderloins, and regal crown roasts of pork or lamb. And, finally, if you’re game, so are we! We’re delighted to be offering duck, pheasant, rabbit, capon, and quail specially for the Christmas season.

The deadline for reserving holiday roasts and specialty meats with our butchers is Tuesday, December 20th, 2016, but the earlier we receive your order, the better! Drop by or give us a call to pick out the perfect centerpiece.

You’ll find plenty of holiday cheer on our special Prepared Food menu; choose from succulent ginger and garlic glazed ham, beef tenderloin with a zesty lemon-horseradish crust, creamy mashed potatoes, roasted beet salad with candied pistachios and truffle vinaigrette, and much, much more. We prepare everything from scratch using the finest ingredients in our Park Slope kitchen, and all will be available from December 19th until December 24th. (Don’t forget, we’ll be closed on Christmas Day, December 25th.)

As for dessert, we have a variety of options for traditional panettone, so you’ll be spoiled for choice. And be prepared to fall in love with your new favorite holiday treat: Northern Italy’s answer to the babka: the decadent, chocolate-swirled, fruit-studded Gubana Cake. We’ll also have cakes and pies galore, and delicious­­ gluten-free baked goods by Las Delicias Patisserie, Trentasette, and Dolci di Franci.
